Overview
MageFall is a community game. It is provided “as-is” and may change at any time, including balance, rules,
or availability. By playing, you agree to these terms.
Accounts & Security
- You are responsible for your account credentials. Don’t share passwords.
- If someone accesses your account because you shared credentials or used a weak password, that’s on you.
- We may reset realms/seasons. Your in-game progress can be wiped as part of normal gameplay seasons.
Player Content & Chat
- Players may post messages (e.g., Banter Chat). Those messages are player-generated content.
- Do not post personal information (yours or anyone else’s). Do not post illegal content.
- Links are allowed but may be rate-limited. You click links at your own risk.
- We may remove content, mute users, or restrict posting to keep the community playable.
Harassment & Conduct
- No targeted harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or repeated unwanted contact.
- Trash talk is fine; abuse is not. Use the mute tools and report features if needed.
- We may take action (mute/ban/reset) for behavior that harms the community or the service.
Data, Availability, and Loss
- This is a live online service. Downtime can happen.
- We are not responsible for data loss, rollback, corruption, or interrupted play—whether due to bugs,
hosting issues, or maintenance.
- We do our best to protect the service, but no system is perfectly secure.
Liability (plain language)
To the maximum extent allowed by law, MageFall and its operators are not liable for damages or losses arising from:
- Downtime, bugs, balance changes, resets, or loss of progress
- Player behavior (including harassment) or player-posted content/links
- Unauthorized access, stolen information, or security incidents
This page is a summary for readability. If you want formal launch-ready wording, we can expand this into a full
Terms of Service + Privacy Policy.
Termination / Enforcement
- We can suspend or terminate accounts for rule violations or to protect the service.
- We can remove or restrict access to features (including chat) at any time.
